Riding high on the success of WTM London 2018, ECOMMPAY will be exhibiting at ITB Berlin between 6-10 March 2019 at Stand 137 in Hall 6.1. The international payment service provider and direct card acquirer plans to showcase a broad portfolio of payment solutions tailored to the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries, even offering a sneak peek at upcoming product releases.
ITB Berlin, deciphered as the Internationale Tourismus-Börse, is the world’s largest tourism trade fair, held annually in Germany’s capital. Having made its debut on the travel industry’s event circuit at World Travel Market London 2018 last November, ECOMMPAY is looking to capitalise on the growing recognition among operators and merchants by showcasing an advanced portfolio of payment technologies tailored to the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors at ITB Berlin.
Attracting more than 160,000 attendees, 68% of whom are trade visitors, and 10,000 exhibitors from more than 180 countries, Messe Berlin is the place to be between 6-10 March 2019 for top decision-makers, experts, buyers, and young professionals from every industry vertical: hotels, tourism organisations, tour operators, travel agencies, transport companies, booking portals, service providers, and more. ITB Berlin promises to facilitate plenty of opportunities for these various groups of attendees to share insights, network among industry peers, and forge valuable partnerships. ECOMMPAY will join the discussions from a payments perspective, recommending solutions and strategies on tackling common operator pain points with targeted technologies.
Paul Marcantonio, Head of UK/Western Europe, had the following to say about the payment service provider’s presence at the biggest event on the industry calendar:
Having consistently demonstrated our expertise within the travel industry, we’re looking forward to meeting current and prospective clients at ITB Berlin. In response to the most common operator pain points, we’re building a solution – a technological payment platform. We launched a prototype at WTM London and have now released a number of features, which we will be happy to demonstrate at ITB Berlin. As we have historically made our name engineering bespoke solutions supplemented by a tailored, individual approach to ensure that operators can capitalise on the areas one-size-fits-all solutions miss, we can’t wait to offer visitors to our stand a demonstration of our capabilities. Personally, I expect that our presence at ITB Berlin will help cement our position as the go-to payments partner, helping even more operators achieve broader coverage, enhanced security, and enhanced revenues!
