ECOMMPAY is happy to announce that clients can now accept payments via Apple Pay at no extra cost. Apple Pay provides an easy and secure way to make payments in iOS apps, watchOS apps, and on websites in Safari.

By using Face ID, Touch ID, or double-clicking Apple Watch, users can quickly and securely provide their payment, shipping, and contact information to check out.

Not only is Apple Pay extremely simple to use, it is also incredibly secure. Apple Pay never stores or shares customer’s actual credit or debit card numbers. Instead, Apple Pay uses a combination of a device token and one-time payment code for each purchase. This, in addition to the use of Touch ID or Face ID, meets all requirements for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) in the upcoming PSD2 regulations without compromising the user experience.

eCommerce businesses receiving ECOMMPAY’s online acquiring services can now activate the Apple Pay payment method for free without any additional fees in addition to the standard acquiring fee.

ECOMMPAY clients should contact their Key Account Manager or to activate Apple Pay now.
