Engineering bespoke risk management solutions to defend clients against losses associated with fraudulent activity, payment service provider ECommPay is honoured to have been nominated for The Card & Payments Awards in the category of Best Security or Anti-Fraud Development.

The Card & Payments Awards celebrate excellence within the payment industries of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Open to established brands, as well as to industry newcomers, the awards are judged by an independent panel of experts, who nominate key representatives of industry stakeholders as contenders for the honour of being recognised as the most innovative solution providers.

ECommPay has been shortlisted for Best Security or Anti-Fraud Development. The award category is open to card issuers, banking acquirers, retailers, and other payment companies, who introduced an innovative solution to improve the security of customer transactions at any stage of the payment process.

The judging panel will assess the innovative nature of the products, technologies, or solutions described in each nominated entry, taking into account evidence of material uplift in customer security and fraud control.

ECommPay’s entry, titled Finding Synergy Between Security & Conversion, introduces the proprietary FraudStop risk management system, which is configured individually to client specifications and supplemented by the manual monitoring of suspicious transactions by experienced analysts. Having recently integrated new functionality, FraudStop has significantly reduced the financial losses associated with unauthorised transactions.

The winners of The Card & Payments Awards will be announced at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane on February 1, 2018. More than 1200 key players from across the industry will be in attendance, networking among peers, colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
