How is the pricing for ECOMMPAY products determined?

Pricing is determined by the level of financial risk involved in working with a specific merchant, as well as their monthly turnover, the type of transactions and currencies, average transaction amount, processing history, type of user payment cards, and other factors.

Does ECOMMPAY work with all types of online merchants?

In most circumstances, ECOMMPAY does not work with merchants whose monthly turnover is less than EUR 50,000.00. We cannot provide services to legal entities operating out of Africa, North and South America, the Middle East, or Oceania.

Is there a prohibited industry list?

We don't partner with merchant providing such services online:
  • Tobacco & Alcohol product, Businesses selling age or legally restricted products or services (including e-cigarettes)
  • Unregulated FOREX/CFD Brokers
  • Providing gambling services in jurisdictions where this is illegal or (where applicable) offering gambling services without a valid license to the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Adult entertainment, websites & content
  • Dating services (sexually-oriented)
  • Prostitution
  • Gentlemen's clubs, topless bars, and strip clubs
  • Video (web-based sexually oriented video)
  • Escort agencies / massage parlors / sexual services
  • Pyramid selling
  • Independent financial advisers
  • Multi-level marketing
  • Social media “click farms” (i.e., the sale of clicks/likes/reviews/endorsements on social media sites)
  • Business/Investment opportunities operating as “get rich quick schemes”
  • Sale of nutra-products
  • Prescription medicines and pharmaceuticals, including prescription medical devices (like contact lenses)
  • Pseudo pharmaceuticals / Nutraceuticals and food products or other digestibles marketed via-unsubstantiated and/or unlawful health or medical claims (e.g., food supplements, vitamins, weight-loss, anti-aging, muscle-building, sexual-stimulant supplements, colon cleansers, detox products).
  • Services associated with pseudo-science (e.g., clairvoyance, horoscopes, fortune telling, etc.)

How quickly can I get the pricing and get onboarded?

This depends on various factors (like business type) and the pace at which the information is exchanged. In most cases, integration with our payment gateway takes 1-3 weeks after receipt of the signed agreement and supporting documentation, subject to the satisfactory completion of our risk assessment procedures. ECOMMPAY will assist merchants at all stages of the process.

Is ECOMMPAY regulated? By whom and in which jurisdictions?

Headquartered in London, ECOMMPAY is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The FCA is respected worldwide as a reputable non-governmental financial regulatory body. Demonstrating commitment to ensuring security and transparency for clients, partners, and other stakeholders, FCA accreditation is synonymous with high standards, efficient operations, stability of service, and legal compliance. ECOMMPAY successfully applied to become an Authorised Payment Institution (API) in 2014, which enables the processing of an unlimited quantity of client transactions across Europe, as well as in a number of Commonwealth countries.
