FAQ
We recommend selecting one area that interests you the most. However, you can choose multiple areas. Based on your demonstrated skills, we may also suggest a different area that fits you better.
Many of our teams offer the possibility of remote work. You can discuss the work format and schedule with your mentor, expert, or team lead.
On average, the selection process takes about 7 weeks from the moment you submit your application until the interview with a mentor, expert, or team lead. We carefully review applications and share them with different managers, so you may receive an invitation from a different team.
To avoid missing any updates, make sure to answer phone calls and check your email regularly.
If you have any questions, you can contact us at internship@ecommpay.com
There is no fixed start date; it is determined individually for each candidate. For the current intake, the internship will not start before May 1, 2025. After successfully passing the interview with a mentor, expert, or team lead, a recruiter will contact you to confirm your acceptance of the offer and provide details on the onboarding process.
The first week will be an adaptation period. You will:
- Meet your mentor and team
- Get familiar with the company’s information resources
- Complete several training courses that will be useful for your work
- Learn about your work tasks and the corporate culture
Of course! The main requirement is to dedicate 20 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of a flexible schedule agreed upon with your mentor, expert, or team lead. Before applying, evaluate your academic workload and indicate in the application how many hours you can commit to the internship. It’s important to specify the maximum number of hours you can work, as managers consider this when reviewing candidates. You will also be able to discuss and finalise your work schedule during your first week of the internship.
First, make sure to fill out the application form in detail. Mention your skills, past projects related to your chosen field, and any relevant experiences (such as hackathons or case championships). Your application is the first thing managers review when selecting candidates for interviews.
For the online assessment:
- Set aside at least 15-20 minutes to complete the test.
- Take the test from a computer, not a phone.
- Ensure a stable internet connection and a quiet environment to avoid distractions.
For the essay:
- No special preparation is required. Just clearly express why you want this internship and what you expect from it.
For the assessment game, preparation is not necessary—just come with a positive attitude!
During the interview, you can ask questions about your future tasks, work schedule, and career prospects. If you receive multiple interview invitations, take notes on the tasks and offers from each team to help you make an informed final decision.
Currently, all interviews are conducted online via Zoom. You will be contacted in advance to schedule a date, time, and communication method. Interviews typically last 30 minutes to an hour.
At the end of the interview, you may be given an additional task to assess your skills. We recommend testing your Zoom setup in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly.
The internship is paid, and your earnings depend on the number of hours worked. The rate is 400 dinars per hour (after taxes). You can calculate your income based on your workload.
The internship typically lasts 2 to 4 months. If you perform exceptionally well, your internship may last the minimum period of 2 months. This is not just about task completion but also about how effectively you collaborate with your team.
