Ecommpay partners with FinTech disability initiative, Project Nemo
Project Nemo is a grassroots initiative led by Joanne Dewar, industry champion and former FinTech CEO. The project works with disability champions and service providers to educate on how to make the industry more inclusive.
As part of its growing commitment to diversity and inclusion, Ecommpay is partnering with Project Nemo to help address and ultimately solve accessibility within FinTech and payments by providing support and expertise across multiple areas of the campaign throughout the year. This includes raising awareness through joint marketing initiatives, and supporting Project Nemo’s marketing and events needs from content writing, to design, most recently providing sponsorship for an exhibition stand at Money20/20 Europe. Passionate about championing the skills and expertise of diverse and underrepresented groups, Ecommpay’s Chief Marketing Officer, Miranda McLean sits on the Executive Board of the not-for-profit, European Women Payments Networks (EWPN), of which Project Nemo’s founder, Joanne Dewar is also a member, sparking conversation on how Ecommpay could support the new venture.
Alongside Project Nemo, Ecommpay is also working on a number of other collaborative projects with organisations and charities including the RNIB, and EWPN to improve inclusion within the industry.
