Ecommpay opens Neurodiversity training to merchants and FinTechs

Underlining its commitment to helping businesses create and nurture inclusive and equitable cultures, inclusive global payments platform, Ecommpay, is offering free neurodiversity training to its partners and clients on 20th May 2025. With limited places available, businesses should register their interest as soon as possible.

The full day programme will be led by Cressida Stephenson, CEO and Founder of EdenChase Associates, who brings both lived experience and deep expertise in inclusive talent practices. It will also include a short panel discussion featuring neurodiverse individuals who will talk about their experiences in and outside the workplace, providing valuable context for the training.

The sessions led by Cressida Stephenson will focus on building a neuro-inclusive culture by enhancing understanding of neurodivergence, recognising common traits, and providing guidance on supporting neurodivergent individuals throughout the job application, interview, and employment journey. The training will also highlight the benefits of neurodiverse teams and key workplace and communication adjustments that foster a more inclusive environment.

Cressida Stephenson commented: “It is great to see businesses like Ecommpay recognise the need to build neurodiversity into their day-to-day operations as well as extend the support to its partners and customers. It is estimated that more than 70% of Gen Alpha and currently 53% of Gen Z identify as neurodivergent. With such a significant proportion of the population, the talent pool and customer base of every business, it’s critical for organisations to understand how those individuals present, interact, process information and emotions, as well as communicate.”

Ecommpay employees are also taking part in the course as part of the mandatory diversity and inclusivity training already in place as part of the Ecommpay for Good programme.

“We are working to create and nurture an inclusive and equitable culture within our own business while also helping our clients do the same for their organisations”, added Miranda McLean, Chief Marketing Officer, Ecommpay.

“Training our team to understand, value and celebrate all neurodiverse individuals is an important step in this on-going journey, and we are offering the training to our partners and clients too in order to share the benefits. The training promises to be engaging and highly valuable, and everyone is looking forward to taking part and learning something new which will benefit them and others at work as well as in their home and social lives.”

Ecommpay partners and clients can register their interest in taking part in the training by following this link.
