The company’s recent overhaul of its website and payments platform, to drastically increase accessibility, was chosen by equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) expert judges as a finalist for Best Initiative of the Year.
Winners will be announced at a black-tie drink reception, three-course meal and awards event at the London Hilton Park Lane, on Tuesday 11th November 2025.
“Ecommpay is on a mission to achieve financial inclusivity for all, a momentous change that requires significant investment that relies on commitment from the very top,” commented Miranda McLean, Chief Marketing Officer, Ecommpay. “Our entire leadership team is focused on increasing inclusivity by making our services, and those of our clients, accessible to anyone. We are therefore extremely proud to have been recognised by Women in Tech and look forward to celebrating the achievements with other EDI-focused businesses at the ceremony.”
"For European banks watching this development, the lesson isn't about charging for basic compliance - that ship has sailed. Instead, it's about finding creative ways to monetise the digital infrastructure they've built while staying within regulatory boundaries. The future lies in premium services and embedded banking, not gatekeeping basic data access."
