Strategic partnership with Ecommpay gives Dolphin Dynamics’ travel clients access to global payments platform
Integrated multi-currency solution enables travel businesses to improve payment experience
Travel technology provider, Dolphin Dynamics, is working with inclusive global payments provider, Ecommpay, to provide its clients with access to the award-winning payment gateway for local and alternative payment methods in any currency. The strategic partnership also allows travel agents, tour operators and travel management companies (TMCs) to benefit from Ecommpay’s risk and authorisation tooling.
UK-based Dolphin Dynamics provides travel businesses with an integrated suite of CRM, reservations, back-office and booking-engine software designed to reduce daily administration and streamline operational processes. Its platform provides a central environment for managing bookings and associated operational and financial processes. Working with tour operators, leisure travel agencies and TMCs, from independents to multinational corporations, Dolphin Dynamics supports businesses in more than 15 countries.
Through the strategic partnership, Dolphin Dynamics integrates Ecommpay’s payment capabilities with its travel technology platform. Customers completing a payment are directed to Ecommpay’s hosted payment page, where payment information is entered and processed within Ecommpay’s environment. Dolphin then uses Ecommpay’s API to retrieve the payment status, update the booking accordingly and register the payment.
By linking payment activity back into Dolphin, payment status can be reflected within the booking workflow and the corresponding payment registered in Dolphin, helping connect the customer payment journey with the wider booking management process.
