Subscription and recurring payment solutions

Recurring payments are automatic transactions where funds are regularly, or on a request-based event, deducted from a customer's account at predetermined intervals, such as weekly, monthly, or annually, for services or products they subscribe to. Instead of requiring customers to initiate each transaction manually, recurring payments allow businesses to charge customers' accounts at predefined intervals automatically without the customer being present in the checkout process.

There are two recurring payment types.

Fixed recurring payments or scheduled subscriptions:

These are payments that occur at regular, predetermined intervals for a fixed amount. Typically automated, fixed recurring payments ensure that the same amount is charged each time.

Variable recurring payments or unscheduled event-based recurring transactions:

Unlike fixed payments, variable recurring payments occur regularly, but the amount can vary with each transaction. These fluctuations are often based on factors such as usage, consumption, or other variables, meaning the payment amount changes accordingly.
